SUMMARY:Neck and shoulder – examination and treatment - AGM02
DESCRIPTION:The condition of the spine affects the function of the shoulder\, and vice versa\, shoulder dysfunctions disturb the biomechanics of the spine. In order to properly treat pain in these areas\, it is worth knowing their dependencies. Arm pain can come from both the structures of the shoulder girdle and can radiate from the cervical spine as well as other parts of the body. Performing a thorough physiotherapeutic diagnosis makes it possible to determine which structure is the cause of pain. If the cause is known\, appropriate therapy can be applied. \n*** \nThe course discusses the problems of patients suffering from neck or shoulder pain. The biomechanics of the cervical spine and shoulder girdle are discussed\, followed by examination\, differentiation of structures and planning of appropriate therapy. During the workshops\, participants learn various physiotherapeutic interventions combining elements of manual therapy\, PNF and medical training. The course is mainly practical.
